Weekly Face: Vol. 1

Welcome to the very first Weekly Face!!

Weekly Face is a weekly (obviously) installment on the blog.  Looks will vary from done up, everyday makeup, and trying makeup looks a bit out of my comfort zone.  My hope is that this series will be an authentic insight at what I look like most days but also inspire me to try out new products and styles that venture past my comfortable matte soft brown eyeshadow look.  These posts will be pretty photo heavy (as you can see from the VERY up close photos of my face) and list all the products from prep to finish with my personal tips and tricks thrown in here and there.

So let's get started...

SuperGoop! Everday Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50

Soap & GLory Speedplump Day Moisturizer

Marc Jacobs Beauty - Under(Cover) Perfecting Coconut Eye Primer

L'oreal True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation in shade W2

Glossier Stretch Concealer in Medium - I used this to Conceal some dark spots on My chin. It's super light but Buildable for coverage.

Maybelline Dream Lumi Highlighting Concealer - I used this under the eyes, down the nose, and in a "Y" shape on my forehead for brightness.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose setting powder

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Bronze Light - I dusted this over the cheeks and hairline of the forehead for an allover bronze glow.

hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Ethereal glow - I tapped this right on the apples to add a bit of color.

Milk makeup Highlighter - I apply this with my finger up the cheek bone and above the last half of the brow.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Soft Brown

Glossier Boy Brow in Brown

Nars Narsissit Loaded eyeshadow Palette - 2nd top row shadow all over the lid, 4th top row shadow run through the crease, and 3rd bottom row shadow very softly blended on lashline and outer corner

Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner in mad max brown

Diorshow iconic overcurl mascara

urban decay vice lipstick in disobedient

Today's makeup was a simple everyday look with a very small winged eyeliner.  I have pretty hooded eyes so winged eyeliner isn't the easiest thing for me to do, but the one trick that helps the most is to start drawing it on with your eyes completely opened and if I need a little extra help I will create little templates with tape!

Let me know if you like this series and what makeup looks you'd like me to show in future posts in the comments and click on that little heart to show me some love!
